Matthew Scot Simon hails from Omaha, Nebraska, where he was raised on a steady diet of superheroes and cable television.  Simon soon grew tired of Nebraska and left for the sunny beaches of...Kansas. 

After studying Film and New Media at the University of Kansas, Matt finally left the Midwest behind for San Francisco, CA.  Soon he was making a humble living as a professional freelance writer and blogger.

Simon's many interests include film, especially experimental film, horror and science fiction; photography, 35mm SLR and Super-8 cameras; comics; and vintage magazines.

Someday soon Simon plans on finishing his first novel.

His work in experimental film continues.
